Academic Coaching
Achieve success within the classroom and beyond.
Real University Experience
Thousands of hours of experience in a university learning center have helped to shape a driven approach that has proven to increase student success.
Personal Approach
Every student has a story and no two are alike. I work with clients, individually, to understand where they are and where they hope to go.
Flexible Scheduling
Schedules are hectic, I get that. Flexible scheduling allows us to get the most out of each meeting without feeling any time constraints.
Athletic Background
I understand that students have more on their plate than just school. Whether it's athletics, work, clubs, organizations, etc... We will work together so that you can be successful in all walks of student life.

Coaching that goes further
Focused Academics founder, Ian Edwards, has a strong background in both academic and athletic coaching. Often times, schools look at these backgrounds as opposing constructs. Sports may take away time from your studies, while stress from your classes can cause a drop in performance. I believe that students best succeed when they mesh their strengths from inside and outside the classroom. Students and I will work together to make sure their success continues well beyond the reaches of their classrooms, athletic events, and extracurricular activities.
Success After School
My coaching is not limited to your time in school. I want to help you build connections and network in your chosen field so that you can hit the ground running professionally as well.
